At Paonia Soil Co. we’ve been perfecting our organic potting soil recipes since 1990. We learned first hand that the best technologies don’t work against nature, they work with it. 

Monumental Mushrooms : We’ve hand-picked a community of mushroom varieties for their purported nutritional benefit, flavor profile, and natural beauty. They are grown with care, arranged to accentuate their petals and gills, and packaged in biodegradable containers for maximum shelf life and freshness.

Preserving Techniques provides hands-on learning for food preservation, fermentation, food crafting and domestic arts in an in-home small group setting. Classes provide skills you can use in your own home creating fun, healthy and tasty things for family and friends to enjoy.

Hit The Hay Farm offers all-natural, non-GMO grass-finished beef. Our cattle graze all summer on the Grand Mesa and we finish them out on diverse cover crops north of Fruita in the fall for full flavored, healthy beef. Since 1910, Centennial Beef has raised all natural, grass-fed and grass-finished beef in Collbran CO.  We ensure that your meat isn't tainted with any artificial ingredients, added colors, hormones, antibiotics, water, additives, dyes, extenders, or binders. At Kulina Lani we are bringing back old world knowledge and science in a most delicious and convenient way.

Kulina means "grain of the cob," Lani means "heavenly or from heaven."

At Happy Hive Farmstead we are on 10 acres with 7.5 acres of pasture located off J Rd and 22 Rd that we are cultivating using permaculture practices and Joel Salatin's method for raising pasture poultry.

Stars Farm : When we say “raw milk,” we mean milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized, and, just as important, milk that is produced by cows living on clean pasture and having a diet that is natural to their digestive system. Straight from the cow,  the milk is then filtered, chilled, bottled, and quickly moved into and stored in the refrigerator.
