2021 CSA DETAILS
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a farm model that allows people to be more directly involved with their food choices. You essentially become a member of the farm by paying for a share of the farm's production prior to each growing season. Your investment as a member provides early capital to buy the seeds, supplies, equipment, and other inputs we need for the growing season without waiting until harvest to generate revenue. Then, you get a share of what is harvested each week during the season.
CSA members receive a share of the produce from the farm while also sharing in the risk of crop failure or pest or disease problems with the farm. Members realize that a refund will not be issued in the event that no crops are harvested. We do our best to manage problems with proper planning, interventions, and an integrated pest management strategy. In addition to the financial support each season, we enjoy a long-term relationship with our members, and look forward to members renewing their memberships each year.

2021 CSA MEMBERSHIP
Thank you for supporting local, good food production. We are so grateful to be able to provide you and your family with the freshest high-quality produce here in the Grand Valley. As we work diligently to learn and find more efficient and beneficial ways to grow your food, we want everyone to understand what your CSA membership entails. It’s a commitment from both the farmer and member.
By purchasing a CSA share, I agree to accept the risks and rewards inherent to farming. I understand that Green Junction Farmstead will work in good faith to produce the best possible crop using sustainable growing methods, without the use of herbicides, insecticides, or synthetic fertilizers, but I also understand that crops may be damaged by natural forces beyond the farmer’s control, and that my share may be affected by such damage.
I understand that my Full Share will be divided into 20 portions (Half Share is divided into 10 portions for pick-up every other week), available weekly beginning early June and continuing through mid-October. I agree to abide by the guidelines specific to the pick-up location I have chosen. I understand that the price I pay for my share is an investment in the farm’s operating budget, and that it cannot be refunded. I have read the CSA refund policy below, and I accept it.
Please send your questions or comments to . In most cases, we’ll respond within 24 hours. For immediate assistance, call Dawn at 970-234-0024 or Brian at 970-459-0461.
Given the inherent risks in growing vegetable crops and the nature of our CSA model, we are not able to process refunds. Thank you!
